| | Philosophy of care/General Information: | I believe in providing
the highest level of comprehensive care for patients. My goal is to take a patient and thoughtful approach toward educating
the patient about their diagnosis so that he/she is completely empowered to
make a decision regarding care. While there are many good options available for
those afflicted with musculoskeletal disease, care must be individualized to fit
the specific social and emotional needs of any particular patient. I have not
done my job if a patient leaves my clinic wondering about their diagnosis. Each
patient has my commitment that I will see them through all aspects of their

An interview with Jason Scott Weisstein, M.D., M.P.H.
A native of southern California, Dr. Weisstein joins the Department of Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine as an Assistant Professor specializing in bone and soft tissue tumors. He has a particular interest in both limb salvage surgery and the care of patients with metastatic bone disease. He also serves as Co-Medical Director of the Northwest Tissue Center, a world class tissue bank dedicated to providing high quality tissue for transplantation.
